On Wednesday evening, COURB presented the Ativa! Ilhéus Project to the community, in a public hearing organized by the Institute Nossa Ilhéus, partner in this initiative.The project was a semi-finalist among 127 competitors in the contest Urban Development and Social Inclusion promoted by CAF – Latin American Development Bank.
The presentation was conducted by the President of COURB, Germano Johansson, and our Projects Director, Mariana Morais. They presented every step of the planning process.
Starting in July, the project had an interdisciplinary technical approach to urban and social development, considering different variables aiming to provide an economic development plan for the city. Therefore, it is separated into three areas: Healthy ILHÉUS, Inclusive ILHÉUS and Creative ILHÉUS.
After the exposition, there was a discussion with the community, who had the opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and present their views on the proposals.
